The Old Market space…

Opening weekend went well! We had lots of visitors and patrons… all who seemed thrilled about the new place. Those of you who weren’t able to make it down, we wanted you to see how the space turned out. This isn’t quite the final product, but close! We were asked over and over throughout the [&hellip

Couple more building sneak peaks…

What’s been making us crazy the past few weeks!

The past few weeks have been a total blur. Between running around picking up the rest of our kitchen equipment, painting, painting and more FREAKING PAINTING, moving over J.Ella Couture, hiring/orientating new staff, dealing with some frustrating construction set-backs, procuring permits, etc., we have been B-U-S-Y! I knew opening the Old Market Galleria would be [&hellip

Saturday afternoon auctioneering

Katie, Matt and I roadtripped over to the Lake Poinsett today for an auction. In fact, we’re currently driving back over there agaaaain, to retrieve our purchases. We’ll get you a better description of classes and bios soon- sounds very cool… or should I say hot?? (Oh yes, [&hellip

Or walk across the building to relocate for the afternoon to the best patio in the region? Adjoining our [&hellip

Angels in America

Meetings, meetings.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how much time Katie, Brian and I spend each day communicating with our construction manager, interior designer, architect, electrician, plumber, cabinet maker, building inspector, lenders, chef, baker, bar manager, renters, new hires, stake-holders, and more. At least 3-4 hours a day, we spend discussing change orders, layouts, [&hellip

Our favorite part!!

From Katie: As stoked as we are about all this, we are superstoked about the patio! Almost year-round, this patio will be a perfect spot to relax in the fresh air and has a fantastic view thanks to the Children’s Museum. Stay tuned!

Making progress! Or at least putting some big holes in the wall.

Future doorway to the patio! Super pumped about the patio! Guess this is what you get for putting a restaurant in a bank; takes a big saw to get through this vault
